Quilted textile collage art

Snohomish is an original quilted textile collage, inspired by the natural landscapes of Snohomish, Washington in the Pacific Northwest.

Created from a photograph taken on my youngest sister's property, the piece captures the layered greens, richness, and organic movement of forest environments — translating nature into textile form.

This handmade fiber art wall hanging is created from layers of commercial and hand-dyed fabrics, mindfully arranged and raw-edged appliqued to the background. The surface is richly quilted with more than ten thread colors, creating dimension, texture, and visual movement throughout the piece.

The forest imagery extends into the borders, reflecting the idea that nature does not end at boundaries but continues beyond them.

This work is ready to display and brings warmth, depth, and a calming natural presence into any interior space. There is a pocket on the back to insert a hanging rod or board.

Each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind and cannot be reproduced.
