Created from a photograph taken near the artist’s family home, this piece captures the layered greens, depth, and organic movement of forest environments — translating nature into textile form.

This handmade fiber art wall hanging is constructed using commercial and hand-dyed fabrics, carefully arranged through raw-edge appliqué and layered composition techniques. The surface is richly quilted with more than ten thread colors, creating dimension, texture, and visual movement throughout the piece.

The forest imagery naturally extends into the borders, reflecting the idea that nature does not end at boundaries but continues beyond them.
