The front pockets on this Everyday Shoulder Bag have rivets, and the back pocket features a touch of whimsy with raw‑edge appliquéd denim flowers. I intentionally left the edges raw — when you wash the bag, the flowers will become even more frayed, giving it a softer, lived‑in look over time.
The cotton lining is a fabric I bought in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I fell in love with the color combo and energetic geometric print, and used it in a couple of quilts over the years. This bag has the last of it.
