It Started with a Box of Old Jeans

For years a cardboard box sat in the corner of my garage. Inside were pieces of denim left over from a jacket project I loved in the early 1990s. I had saved every scrap because that is what quilters do. We save things. We believe that someday the urge to play with that fabric will return. Last year it did. I pulled out the box, dusted it off, and started cutting. That is how Eco Chic was born. Not from a business plan, but from a simple desire to make something useful from denim that already had a life.
