How Denim Scraps Become Appliqué
You will see flowers on many of my Eco Chic bags. They are not cut from new fabric. They are made from leftover denim pieces too small for a bag. I cut them freehand, layer them, and stitch them raw edge. When you wash your bag, those flowers will fray a little more. They become softer, more relaxed. I love that. It means the bag changes with you. A bag that looks brand new is not necessarily better than one that has lived a little. My flowers wear their age beautifully.
