Why I Keep Every Belt Loop
Belt loops are small, but they are useful. I sew them onto the sides of messenger bags or above a pocket. They become a place to clip a key chain or a purse charm. Some customers use them to hold a small umbrella or a pair of glasses. They add almost no weight, but they give a bag a finished look. Next time you cut up jeans, snip off the belt loops and set them aside. You will find a use for them.
